Yes in Chicago 29 years (hard to write, much less comprehend) I think that 16th Street house is still standing, probably renovated and enormously improved, as has the entire neighborhood.
Yes, Kate is now older than you and I ever were – 39 last June – also here in the Chi area. Peter long gone, living in LA with 2nd wife and multiple stepchildren/grandchildren. I remarried in Chicago,one more child, and time has flown. I was thinking of your/your mother’s(?) place out in great falls, all those Sunday picnics, when it was all still country out there.
